YN gets its Chemistry right with its Patrons

Richard Desmond in the hot seat for YN Media

Norwood President and Media tycoon Richard Desmond took to the stage at the annual YN Media fundraising reception last night, for a candid interview with TV Broadcaster Tania Bryer. The event, which raised £20,000 for the Charity, was hosted by the London Film Museum Covent Garden, and welcomed 175 young professionals, many of whom were from the media industries.

Royal Parks runners raise £15,000 for Norwood

Twenty Norwood runners took part in the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon yesterday, raising £15,000 for the Charity and its life-changing work. The group joined 12,500 other participants in the sunshine for the 13.1 mile route through Kensington Gardens, Green Park, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye.

Israel’s Ambassador to the UK, Daniel Taub and his wife Zehava, welcomed children and adults who use Norwood’s services to his home in St John’s Wood today, for a festive tea party, held in his Succah.

YN Fundraisers take to the roof to raise £11,000 for Norwood

A group of 25 thrill seekers abseiled down Beaufort House EC3 in the City of London on Sunday, for YN’s Abseil in the City fundraising challenge. Braving the wet weather, the young professionals enjoyed spectacular views of the Gherkin, Shard and London Bridge, as they made their way down 150ft to the roof gardens, where they were greeted by proud family members and friends.

Norwood Nursery gets a new lease of life

Volunteers from Leandlease, a property company, exchanged a day in the office to helping tidy up the nursery gardens at the Kennedy Leigh Family Centre in Hendon on Thursday 20th September 2012.
