The difference Norwood makes

Will you consider becoming a Norwood patron?

By becoming a Norwood Patron, you can help us support thousands of people with learning disabilities each year, as well as children and families in need. Your support helps them to improve and take control over how they live their lives.

As more and more people turn to Norwood for support, we want to ensure that we never have to turn anyone away. Our Patrons help us achieve that.

Why patronage makes such a difference

People with learning disabilities may need support throughout their whole lives and Norwood provides services, support and advice at every stage. Making sure we can support people for their entire lives is especially important when parents can no longer look after their children.

Please get in touch if you would like to discuss patronage with us. We would be delighted to take you to visit Norwood’s services so you can see what we are helping people achieve and how your support will make a difference.

We can achieve so much with the support of our patrons

Norwood is constantly looking for ways to improve and develop the services we offer so that we meet the needs of the people we support. With your support, this is exactly what we do.

Exciting future strategic projects

  • With the input of residents and their families, we are looking at how we can plan for a sustainable and vibrant future at Ravenswood

Finding a site for a new Family Centre

  • SW Herts is a fast growing part of our community. We are currently looking for a suitable site for a new Children and Family Centre there to add to the three family centres we already run.

It is the loyal and continuing support of our donors and patrons that has helped us achieve so much already. The need continues and we need your continued support more than ever.
