Volunteer in a Norwood Shop

Our volunteers make our shops a success

The practical involvement of our volunteers is what enables us to run our charity shops.

All Norwood shops have experienced retail managers and teams of committed volunteers, who help either from 10am-2pm or from 1-5pm. Our shops are open Monday-Friday and on Sundays, too.

Volunteers come from all walks of life and help in our shops for many reasons:

  • Wanting to help a cause they believe in
  • Enjoying the companionship of being part of a team
  • Gaining valuable work experience
  • Improving their English
  • As part of the service to the community encouraged by schools, either within the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme or independently. Volunteering in a Norwood shop is something that can be included in a UCAS application.

If you would like to get involved by volunteering in a Norwood charity shop, please get in touch. We would love to hear from you.
