Wendy’s story

Wendy volunteering at equestrian centre

Wendy recently celebrated an impressive quarter of a century volunteering at Ravenswood. Every Wednesday, as part of her voluntary work at the Equestrian Centre, she teaches adults with disabilities how to drive the pony and trap. But because she owns a horse which is kept at the stables, she is actually a daily visitor and is always happy to help out when needed.

Ravenswood is a fantastic place where residents get the most fantastic opportunities and experiences. As a nurse and a horse lover, it seemed natural to volunteer. I really enjoy my time there.
