Mitzvah Day at Norwood
Mitzvah Day at Norwood

Norwood kicked off this year’s Mitzvah Day, and resident Richard’s special birthday celebrations, with a pre-Shabbat activity and service for Norwood residents at the Kennedy Leigh Family Centre on Friday. Based around the theme of Repairing the World, residents decorated plant pots and planting for Spring, which will then be donated to other charities that support people with loneliness, before Richard led residents and staff in reciting Kiddush.

On Sunday, meanwhile, Radlett Reform Synagogue members made Chanukah cards, dreidels and decorations and goodie bags for Norwood residents at their forthcoming Chanukah party; before residents attended a special afternoon tea and singalong with their friends from Kenton United Synagogue.
